Role Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Group HR Manager to lead the human resources function across the SOGO Group of Companies. This role goes beyond people management – it serves as a strategic partnership with business leaders to align human capital with organizational goals, elevate talent quality, improve productivity, and strengthen a culture rooted in trust, inclusion, and accountability. Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies aligned with business and growth needs
  • Manage end-to-end hiring, onboarding, and employer branding initiatives
  • Build a transparent, safe, and inclusive work culture across all divisions
  • Mediate employee relations and ensure grievance redressal systems function effectively
  • Draft, implement, and manage HR policies while ensuring statutory and legal compliance
  • Forecast manpower needs and develop succession and workforce planning strategies
  • Use HR analytics to monitor attrition, engagement, and performance trends
  • Establish a structured Learning & Development framework to foster continuous growth
  • Drive a performance-driven culture through coaching, feedback, and career progression
  • Design and execute engagement programs to strengthen morale and retention
  • Oversee payroll, attendance, HRIS, and process automation across HR operations
  • Lead strategic HR initiatives such as competency mapping, digital HR, and organization restructuring
  • Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion at all levels of the organization
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR / Business / Psychology (MBA in HR preferred)
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or group-level role
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in HR analytics, metric-based decision-making, and HRIS platforms
  • Deep understanding of labour laws, compliance, and audit preparedness
  • High emotional intelligence with strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills
Nice to Have
  • Experience managing HR across multiple business verticals
  • Exposure to IT, technology-driven companies, or service-based environments
  • Familiarity with digital HR transformation and AI-driven HR systems
