Manager – Business Development

Role Summary
We are looking for a result-oriented Business Development Manager to drive growth for our IT Rental business. This role is ideal for someone with strong market understanding, relationship-building capabilities, and a passion for identifying new business opportunities while expanding SOGO’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business development and marketing activities for IT rental solutions.
  • Generate revenue through new client acquisition and business expansion.
  • Identify and collaborate with partners and external stakeholders for business growth.
  • Achieve business targets by effectively coordinating with internal teams.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to expand market presence.
  • Build strong customer relationships and understand client requirements.
  • Conduct market research, customer analysis, and benchmark industry best practices.
  • Improve customer service quality through process evaluation and optimization.
  • Promote long-term customer engagement and account management.
  • Coordinate with the credit collection team to ensure timely payment recovery.
  • Work closely with accounts teams for invoices, delivery challans, and account updates.
  • Submit weekly business reports and performance updates to management.
  • Represent SOGO professionally and strengthen brand visibility in the market.
  • Identify emerging market trends, customer demands, and competitor activities.
  • Submit Daily Activity Reports (DAR) and maintain updated customer records.
Requirements
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
  • Experience in business development, corporate sales, or account management
  • Ability to achieve revenue targets and manage multiple client accounts
  • Strong understanding of market research and customer engagement strategies
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and proactive approach to sales
Nice to Have
  • Experience in IT rentals, IT services, or technology solutions industry
  • Exposure to corporate sales, e-waste management, or sustainability-focused solutions
  • Experience handling B2B enterprise customers
